Common questions

How do I keep antlers upright?

Stuff them firmly and sew all the way around the base, not just one side. For decor only, a short pipe cleaner inside each antler keeps them stiff.

Is this safe for a baby?

Swap safety eyes for embroidered eyes and skip any pipe cleaners. Sew every piece on very securely.

Can I make a smaller reindeer ornament?

Make just the head, muzzle, nose and antlers, and add a hanging loop — a reindeer face ornament in about 90 minutes.
