A crochet whale is a large rounded body that tapers into a narrow tail, with two flat flukes on the end. Increase to 36 stitches for a chubby front, work straight rounds, then decrease more slowly toward the back and keep a few 12-stitch rounds for the tail stalk. Side fins, a white belly patch and a smile finish it. It's about 5 inches long.
